Cattle Barn Monitoring System

With a cattle barn monitoring system, you can keep an eye on your livestock from the comfort of your favourite chair. Our camera systems can be installed in your barn so you can monitor your cattle on television.

These systems are especially useful if you have a sick or pregnant animal that you need to constantly monitor. Instead of making numerous trips to the barn, you can simply flick on the television.

A typical system includes a camera, two passive twisted pair video up to 1000 x 2, a quad cable BNC twist and one hour of labour. The cost for this system is $375.85 plus tax.

Cattle Farmer Saves Time Thanks to Monitoring System

Brian McCullum is spending more time watching TV and a lot less time travelling to his barn thanks to Maximum Alarm & Security.

Brian is a dairy farmer from Sussex, New Brunswick. He knows that when one of his 65 head of cattle is getting ready to give birth, it usually means frequent trips to the barn. But not this year. Brian recently purchased a cattle barn monitoring system from Maximum Alarm & Security. He can now watch his cattle from the comfort of his home. Brian has a tie stall, but the monitoring system would also work in a free stall for heat detection.

“If it’s in the middle of the night or if it’s raining, cold or snowing, I don’t have to run out to the barn,” says Brian. “I can just turn on the TV. It is very convenient, but it is also economical and easy to install. I would definitely recommend it to others.”
